Or you could simply be another foolish man sprouting off at the mouth whom the video cams and mics chase who undermines his or her own word with every next one and your own actions as we have now.....in Al, Jessie, and our politician Obama--why oh why has it taken our politician a whole year to discuss Jena? You celebrate him for a return call and statement within the hour, the people ask why did it take almost a full year....You as the leader will be there at the beginning next time to understand this.
And next time it won't be minglecity.com, it won't be sex lust and lies tag lines. Those must be pushed way to the side along with the inappropriate conversations. If you are going to represent the ancestors as you have evoked their name consistently since you became Jena-fied--and that is what it will be called until you prove through consistent work and sacrifice and growth that it is not short term, if you will to represent the ancestors then you must exude their culture and they did not behave as the slave master told us they did or this culture would have us believe. Discretion. Discipline. Integrity. Pride. Manhood. Womanhood. Sacrifice. Honor. That is the culture of the enlightened ancestors you evoke or wish to walk in.
These are antithetical to the whole culture of sex, lust, and lies you've created around your show. Additionally, you can't lead national movements and be taken seriously if you are the man who does that show always hinting at the size of members and invites to the orgy. Do you not see how that wouldn't play well at Meet The Press? Or how it plays into the prevailing stereotypes of the oversexed and moronic African American? How can that serve your people? How can that serve your ancestors?
Change the name. Grow. Become what you are becoming. Work.
The new name need not be radical and scary, you may loose your show, your sponsors and that would not serve either. The theme must be different. Drop such blatant sex talk. The show? Call it the Fam something. Family. You seem to like that word....For you family....
You're intelligent. You'll figure it out. Good luck.
With the ears of the ancestors, for real, I'll be listening up hear next to the sun....

Michael Baisden, change the name, you changin' the game.
With the march/family rally coming up in two days, I've been listening to you Michael Baisden. I can't help but laugh at the comment about how nuthin' has changed in the last 30 plus years since 1975--(the comment made after playing Wake Up by the OJ's--the world won't change if we just let it be....) I must add that before your Jena Awakening you were doing nothing to change the world. As a matter of fact your show was part of the problem by participating in the over sexing and dumbing down of America. Booty shots, Black Orgies, and getting caught having sex in front your child is not the topic of discussion for leaders, for the change minded individuals on national radio. A discreet conversation between adults yes, but having youth listen and call in for finding daddy's porn stash? People were always dying, were always being poorly treated in this war against the black while you and the Baisden Heads were yucking. I offer this not as admonishment it and of itself. But as a means to keep you humble. I and so many of the people out here have been gettin' our collective asses whipped trying to maintain the culture, keep the fire hot within us for the day when....Humility is what you should seek next for your personal growth which will then reflect in your show. Suffer the spiritual growth stage of life. That means you must seek out discipline within and with out. Open yourself. The Ancestors will send one. I've written Knowing The Manifestations as a beginning there are many inroads toward the growth necessary. And it is if you are to be a leader in the media. Because then your analysis will change because your perspective has. Then you will find the true respect....of The One.

Where you been and Why? On The Jena Six and The Current "Movement".
I must applaud Michael Baisden for his media leadership in pulling together a family get together down in Jena to bring attention to this matter. His show is truly the first place that did it justice. It has since become a political issue and national media magnet that it should have been in the first place.
I must applaud his growth. I have been listening at just the right time with the blessings of the forces to hear him say that he has been waiting on an issue to become political about and he feels like this is it. He has been indefatigable about calling people out about failing to support this issue.
And in true form our media leaders always waiting for the camera--Al Sharpton, Yes I'm talking about you and not the four other brothers in the barbershop on Viacom's BET--are now showing up. I would include Obama but the fact that he is a politician and only now issued a statement after eleven months of this qualifies him as a politician, by his skin color many of you want to make him your leader although he has not shown leadership values on African American issues in his political agenda. This is understandable as these are often contradictory in America--successful national politics and leadership in America. One can not hope to lead this nation and lead African America to true equality for too many Americans have not faced their own racism, still. A fact not lost on an African American whose major tool is popularity and blackness. The leadership will take too much courage. And could he show it, find the strength to be that courageous? He could, but such strength can be seen coming for years or is created by a cataclysmic event, neither of which is evident yet.
While it may seem that I digress. I do not. We are discussing leadership. Leaders are before the people, not behind. Leaders are self sacrificing, not exploitive. The Politicians, the opportunists, the self centered, and egotistical are behind the people. They stand there watching the winds of fate and the direction of the masses and when it is acceptable, when it is truly the direction of the world, of their constituents, they jump out in front of the mob and say, I am your leader by taking a public face in the matter, or taking credit for the situation or position which the people formed long before anyone even heard of it. The people who are struggling day to day, who are leading in their communities against this oppression, the stripper, thuggin', oppression fed BET infused life which doubles over the daily white Jena style racism which they are also fighting--those are leaders. The people who suddenly find themselves leading the masses, coordinating a mass move on behalf of the people after having been a tool for the oversexed dumbing down foundation of our internal oppression as they exploit the people in this area whether knowingly or unknowingly, like Michael Baisden, must be applauded but understood. They are not leaders. They are media personalities who can lead their own industry toward the situation.
Understand what I am saying? And for you to do so, perhaps you need me to break it down a little. where in the hell these people been you hear all over the radio? And why in the hell ain't it been an issue in the ten previous months before. I and the black bloggers blew this up long ago. Long ago. And I mean we black folk been catchin' hell my entire life and some of these people are just getting involved in our internal and external racism fight. Namean?! This makes them followers, not leaders of a political movement. Last week it was sex, lust, and lies and this week it's Malcolm X? Last week Obama was telling us enough with the Black enough questions, this week it's the situation in Jena is abhorrent?
No the people should speak. If they do, and it was cogent analysis based upon a historic understanding of African American leadership, they would say Baisden should be hounding Black face BET of Viacom multinational into weekly, daily, hourly investigative reports. Force them to bring back an investigative, opinion orientated analytical platform dealing with black issues. Lead the media Michael Baisden. Not the people. Travis, Jackie Reed, even the lovely Bev Smith now!!! Obama should be leading the congressional black caucaus into calling for federal investigation and action against the prosecutors, the sheriff, the judge....Lead the caucaus, not the people or more properly that is how we should view him--a politician leading the politicians. That is not a leader of the people.
But if I am correct there might be too much love, lust, and lies going on after the sound trucks are packed up Too much vote for me for President because I'm black and don't ask me in front of white folk if I'm black--my answer might offend them, they may be reminded that I am, or I might offend Oprah.
I mean where in the hell you been Baisden and Obama, et al and I mean that in I love you black person way. Every body with they ass burnt out here would immediately use what ever position to deal with the demon's teeth on their back.
Still I applaud you. And it is my hope that you have the courage to stay and follow. The courage to follow the leaders of the people and not believe you are leaders of the people For in the traditional African sense, you are not leaders. You have not done the time and sacrifice. It is evident in you recent stances and presentation. Have you grown, could this be a tipping point> Yes and perhaps, but you are still followers because you have not been purified enough by time and tribulation for the people and that is not speaking of your personal time and tribulation. There is a difference and you have not done either so you remain followers in the traditional African sense. And that is what you are when the current situation in Jena is viewed from the sun.
I must applaud his growth. I have been listening at just the right time with the blessings of the forces to hear him say that he has been waiting on an issue to become political about and he feels like this is it. Maintenance Jiggin'
See it's that bullshit I been talkin' about right there. Michael Baisden's bullshit ass novel straight from 21st century slave fields keeping us enslaved. A novel about a cat who quit grad school to become a Jigger-lo to undersexed black women was picked up by a major company. Is that not a re-enslavement effort of the present/future?
It can't be jes me, can it? Is African American peoples the only one wit' out adults? Who is pullin' this juvenile man's coat tails? "Er, uh, Michael, serious shit is happen'n every day and couldn't you write about somethin' other than a nigga playin' Mandingo for money? Yea, sex sells, but ever ask your self why there ain't no other movie or shiteation(my word and I'll sue if you use it.) which Holy(white)wood will put out about a brother, if it ain't a comedy?"
Is there nothin' and I mean nothin' else in da black experience other than cat wit long one layin' pipe up into throat? (Don't get mad at me, get mad at Bob Johnson, he started this wit' BET--see my site 21st century Slaves and Slavers.) Oh yea, there's black Buck (the slave-athlete composite) There's the Jigga dancer and........The Jigga thief, thug, criminal. Oh and the black...hoe. Who could forget? That's muthafuckin' it. Just about like....Slavery.(if you think the criminal paradigm is new, you're just forgeting that we always stole all the food we could find in slavery.)
Big Johnson Jiggin' That's all it is. Picture it, the slave master weighing testicles. Slave Master's wife visiting the barn. Cause an updated version of it is all you buyin' if you give dese fools yo' money for this bullshit, of this Enslavement effort of the present, if you pay to go see it.
Michael, when one becomes an adult in the African community, one puts away the juvenile behavior of the past. That would include sex, lies, lust and whatever other sexually foolishness you put on display for the entire village(read community)every day on your show. I don't care how much money they pay you. How much your projects are put before us. I speak for the enlightened ancestors. I speak for the adults in this community. And as much as you want to claim the matters on your shows and in your books are adult behavior, they is not. Part of being a man in the African tradition, being an adult in the African community, is learning and living discretion, discipline, control, and dignity. It is not pandering sex and defaulting to emotional, sensual, and sexual behavior. This has been understood and passed on for generations, such man hood passages were broken during slavery and our adult development was retarded. And so in an air of permissiveness lacking cultural structures and limitations you and so many like you since freedom done come, succeed in passing on such stereotypes which fail to meet true standards of manhood and womanhood needed for the successful development and maintenance of African American adults, let alone children into adults, on your show and in your books. You would bear the responsibility of maintaining such a burden as a man in the community. ,Period, were we a part of the village before the slavers. As men we lost our way and found ourselves believin' our slave imposed role as sexual Bucs and breeders.
Now, As it is, it is all too funny and ironic to listen to you pondering such serious topics as disciplining African American Children and wondering why they do not listen, nor are they able to respond to discipline as you share their behavior daily with your inane forays in to the indiscreet pondering of sex and lust, thereby sounding oh so foolish. As a man in the community, it would fall to me to pull your coat tails in private or public before every one. I don't care how much money you make from this Big Johnson Jiggin'. As a man, it would fall to you to be spiritually mature enough to find another means of income despite the certain economic loss. Some how I do not believe you will, since you have failed until this moment. Now, since you seem to like embarrassing yourself in public, this is the proper place. In the name of your ancestors, stop this immaturity now and realize your responsibility as a man in the African American community for your actions have branded you, mutha fuckin' slave.
